Kevin Hooper on Abel: Abel comes highly-recommended from many individuals I have spoken to.  As of today, he will be our Opening Night third baseman.  He can play all over the diamond which makes him very versatile and valuable in case we need him at another position.  Abel adds some experience to our team and comes highly-regarded not only as a player, but as a person too.  I can’t wait to see him take the field for us.
