There are basically two types of cancellations of Wingnuts games due to adverse weather conditions:
If this occurs while you are at the ballpark, keep your ticket stub and redeem it at the ticket office for a future game subject to availability and excluding special events. Please be advised, this transaction does not have to take place on the day the game is postponed. By American Association rules, five innings (or four and a half innings if the home team is leading the game) constitutes a complete game and no ticket refunds or rain checks will be issued. In the event a double header is postponed after five innings of game one have been completed, it will be considered a complete game. No refunds or rain checks will be issued.
If this occurs, keep your whole ticket and exchange it at the ticket office for a future game of your choice (same season only), subject to availability and excluding special events.
If a game is postponed before the gates open, your voucher can be exchanged for any other Monday game during the regular season. If the game is postponed while in progress, then we will follow those guidelines above.
If the game is postponed prior to the gates opening, your voucher can be exchanged for the date of the rescheduled Buy-In Night. If the game is postponed while in progress, then we will follow those guidelines above.
Other than a single unopened bottle of water per person there will be no outside food or beverage allowed inside the ballpark (City Ord. #36-606). All coolers and containers will be checked for contents at the front gate of the stadium.
On our Friday and Saturday game nights or at any other special event there will be a $2 parking fee for General Parking in Lots A, B and C. For every Wichita Wingnuts game our fans will have the opportunity to park in the Priority Parking Lot for only $5 (based on the availability of spaces each game).
Fans can purchase a season long parking pass for the priority lot for only $40.
Tailgate Parties are both allowed and encouraged in our General Parking Lots (Lots A, B and C). If it is a weekend game then the parking fee will apply with no additional charges for choosing to use the lots prior to the start of the game. The only restriction will be no glass bottles and the Wichita Wingnuts will ask those using the lot to pick up after themselves.
