At a Nov. 9, 2007 news conference to announce his hiring, Wingnuts manager Kash Beauchamp described himself as "fiery" and said, "I'm more of a Bill Parcells guy than a guy who's going to coddle his players."
Those descriptions proved true, but Beauchamp's intensity will be what's most remembered about him in his one season.
After an inaugural year in which the Wingnuts finished 45-50 in the independent American Association, general manager Josh Robertson on Tuesday informed Beauchamp that his contract would not be renewed for next season.
