WICHITA, Kans. (April 19, 2017) – The Wichita Wingnuts Second Annual Community Benefit Concert featuring Billy Currington and Chris Janson is set for Saturday, April 22 at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium. For fans planning on attending Saturday’s event, please take note of the following items.
Parking will be $5 at the Lawrence Dumont Stadium parking lot. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m., and there will be a live DJ performing until Bryson Michael and the Free Nation gets the show started at 5:00 p.m. The Adam Capps Band is back for the second straight year, and will take the stage at 6:00 p.m. Following that duo will be Chris Janson around 7:00 p.m., with Billy Currington rounding out the evening’s events at approximately 8:30 p.m.
There will be no outside food or beverages allowed into the stadium on Saturday, and any bags larger than a purse will not be allowed entry into the stadium. Smoking will not be permitted on the premises for the event. The Wichita Wingnuts and the Lawrence Dumont Stadium staff reserve the right to eject any patron(s) from the premises who are found to be in violation of these stipulations.
Announced in January, the Second Annual Wichita Wingnuts Community Benefit Concert was an initiative driven by the Wingnuts three owners Nate Robertson, Steve Ruud, and Gary Austerman, designed to bring the organization together with several local non-profit organizations to help them raise funds. For the second straight year, the Wingnuts have partnered with 50 local organizations to help their fundraising efforts.
